I found a few expensive, rare items in the Treasure Trail Guide. Flared Trousers are available at Level 1 while Level 2 contains cloaks. The famed Ranger Boots can also be found at Level 2. Level 3 includes 3rd Age, trimmed armor, and many other items.
However, most players don't receive these items very often. There are a myriad of clues that could be used to locate 3rd Age. But, not one player will ever get the item. I find this odd given that some people earn 500k within a couple of hours. I know that I do.
It seems so simple. Let's forget about Clue Scrolls and skill when we play Runescape! But wait! There's another side to this argument. It's possible to earn a steady income, however, you'll lose something vital to the equation. It's called enjoyment. This is the reason we play games. Every day I log onto watch people playing their favorite 99's and making money while I pointed it out. Do they really love Runescape?
Treasure Trails will be something I will continue to work on. While it may not be the most efficient way to make money, it's certainly not just about making money. Every clue I get is a challenge. It's like a rush prior to opening the casket. Do I find another clue or will this be my reward? Is the reward huge or will I need to do it again later? We'll never know. That's the question. What's your opinion?
You know what is it? I get lots of inquiries regarding how to earn money. But the answers usually aren't very interesting, require high stats (75+) or the use of a large amount of cmbat. My method is very simple and can make you 460k an hour. The minimum you can make is 100k an hour. It's not difficult to earn 50 Rc. You'll need 50 rc.
