Watt may not be as fast as an elite rusher but Watt can get through any block. Watt is a formidable player on the run and pass game, battling the best linemen in Madden. Watt serves as an unmovable force at the defense's middle, eliminating runs through A and B gaps in almost every game. It's the fastest card in the game if it could run at 90mph.
To optimize the card players must have full play-fake and full sprinter. With the upgrade, the card will feature 99 catching in all categories and speeds of 96 sprint and 97 acceleration. While Jerry Rice may not be the fastest receiver yet his speed and agility are outstanding.
It is possible to play him as either slot or wide receiver. Only a handful of defensive backs can limit his speed in games. Rice will prevail as long as his players don't sabotage their own games.
Tony Gonzalez's ghost card is ridiculous. At 6'5", Gonzales has a base speed of 91, with 92 acceleration. Apart from deep route running, all of Gonzales' receiving stats are above 93. Gonzales can outrun or outclass pretty much any defender on the field.
While the statistics after the catch are impressive, it still does not cross the 90-juke threshold. The only issue with the Ghosts of Madden Gonzales card is the fact that it blocks runs. The players will prefer to play him as a slot player or in pass-heavy sets.
